On Saterday, I finally got the new camera I wanted. It is a Nikon D50, digital camera with
optional full manual controls!! It is great having such a good camera, and I have to thank Jen McNulty for it. She and her fiance Patrick have a photography business and this was her first real camera. I think they got it originally for over a grand, but I got it for 350. She says she's really glad someone she knows is getting it (they were going to put it on ebay is no one around them was interested). She wanted to be sure that it was going to be used and enjoyed, not left sitting around, collecting dust. Well.. I have put this thing to quite a bit of use. These are just a few of the many pictures I have already taken with it. The battery is charging right now (I think it might me done) and I haven't downloaded the most recent pictures to the computer, but check them out.
